Here are some very nice iPhone 4 and/or Droid / Droid 2 cases I created for the not-for-profit fund-raising event at a local arboretum next month.

Handmade masculine protective carrying case / sleeve / bag w pocket for MacBook Air 11 inch - Blue upholstery fabric w leather

This case is a special order for a customer of Belvidesigns. It's designed to provide a snug fit for a MacBook Air 11-inch laptop. I added a handy pocket on the outside and equipped it with heavy Velcro closure sewn on black leather. It's interfaced/padded for structure and protection, and is lined with black felt.

Beautiful iPad 2 w Smart Cover or iPad 1 protective carrying cases / sleeves / bags from Belvidesigns

I am super excited about these two new creations for my Belvidesigns shop. They are simply gorgeous. The fabrics are very classy and high quality. You can see for yourself in the photos below. The first case is made of a rich and high-quality jewel-tone decorator fabric with shades of gold, rust, and brown, and is paired with a dark-brown wool felt. The second case is made of thick red and white herringbone wool fabric and is paired with a charcoal wool-blend felt.

From Belvidesigns - iPad cases / sleeves / bags n iPhone 4 leather case n pin / brooch

I have been very busy creating new cases for a charity event that's coming up in May. It is in support of a local arboretum. I have stopped participating in the for-profit craft shows for over a year now; I have found them to be mostly beneficial to the organizers - they always come out the winners, regardless of whether the artists/crafters sell anything. Another common problem with for-profit craft shows is that they are not always careful about balancing out the variety of crafts represented. In the last event I participated, about 60% of the vendors were selling the same type of items, which infuriated many participants, needless to say. Anyway, I am always happy to take part in good not-for-profit causes, especially the ones having to do with protection and/or rescue of animals and our planet. Enough about my humble opinion...

Here are a few of my recent creations -- a black/white wool herringbone iPad case, a black / blue / grey wool-blend felt iPad case, a romantic / feminine green linen iPad case, a classy and simple brown leather iPhone 4 case, and a very pretty and super-unique mixed-media/collage type pin / brooch:

Handmade protective case / sleeve / bag w pocket for Motorola Xoom tablet PC - Burgundy / wine leather w grey felt

This was a special order for a customer of ibagsnmore. It's made to fit a Motorola Xoom tablet PC. It's the same exact design as the iPad 2 case that was featured in the March 11, 2011 Unplggd.com post entitled "20 Best Cases, Sleeves & Covers for New iPad 2 Owners" (In case you are interested here is the link to that post: http://www.unplggd.com/unplggd/roundup/20-great-cases-for-the-ipad-2-141368 )

iPad 2 with Smart Cover case / sleeve w pockets for Blackberry and iPod - Black white houndstooth wool-suiting fabric w leather

This case is a special order for a customer of ibagsnmore.  The customer wanted a case to hold his iPad 2 with the Smart Cover on, and two outside pockets to hold a Blackberry and an iPod Touch. It was somewhat tricky and time-consuming to make since the fabric is a little stretchy; I had to take a lot of care to line up the houndstooth pattern. Even with good stabilizing, the process was tricky throughout. But the final result sure looks good though!

Handmade iPhone 4 case / sleeve / cover - Brown leather n wool-blend felt - Masculine or unisex

This is a custom order for a customer of ibagsnmore. I really like the clean-cut look of this iPhone 4 case. The color is a very warm sort of brown - earthy and unassuming. The case is interfaced for structure and shape, and lined with a brown wool-blend felt. As usual, I left the top portion of the side seams unsewn/open to make it easier to get the phone out. I am sure my customer will like it as well.
